Learn Ealing continues to deliver courses through its online offer. We will deliver lessons and support learners through the use of Google Education suite, Zoom, Skype and other digital platforms.
Our 2021-2022 Prospectus is now available, however there will be major changes to the way we can provide these courses in the Autumn Term.
To participate in online classes you will need an email address, a reliable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet/mobile phone with fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome). Your device will need a microphone and preferably a camera.

Building confidence for interview
This workshop will help to build your confidence and skills in giving speeches and presentations. You will explore techniques for planning and delivering talks, as well as ways to engage your audience within interviews.
Aims of the course
- To become aware of the importance of communication in personal and professional environments. - To gain experience in interpersonal, group, and public communication. - To develop strategies for overcoming speech anxiety. - To practice delivery of professional and personal speeches using visual aids where appropriate to enhance presentation This workshop will help to build your confidence and skills in giving presentations. You will explore techniques for planning and delivering talks, as well as ways to engage your audience in a range of public speaking situations. During the workshop you will develop and deliver a speech on a topic of your choice. You will receive feedback on your performance from the other course participants and your trainer.

What you will learn: The course will cover use of body language, voice control and development, management of anxiety, presentation and delivery and interview techniques Learning Outcomes: Plan, structure and deliver short speeches Strengthen their stage presence by building confidence Give impromptu speeches at work when the situation demands it Engage their audience

You will learn through public speaking exercises that will be administered throughout the session using Q & A, Discussions, Activity and Observations and Peer, Self and Tutor feedback Platform for the course/workshop: This workshop will be held on Zoom. You can join by clicking on the link within the joining instructions. Once you have joined, please turn on your camera. Physical activity checklist: Mandatory for all types of physical activity courses. Please complete (before the start of your course) and return to firstname.lastname@example.org.
