The Functional Skills qualification in English at Level 2 is designed to prepare you for work, study and life. It will help you to read, write, speak, listen and communicate with confidence, and to apply this knowledge and these skills effectively to a range of purposes in the workplace and in real life situations. The course will also enable you to acquire an English qualification at the level required for progression on to many professional and vocational qualifications.
Aims
The Functional Skills qualification in English at Level 2 is designed to prepare learners for work, study and life. It is suitable for a wide range of individuals wishing to improve their English skills and progress onto employment or further qualifications.
The purpose of this course is to enable learners to read, write, speak, listen and communicate with confidence, and to apply this knowledge and these skills effectively to a range of purposes in the workplace and in real life situations.
