Aims of the course
Learn a range of practical marketing strategies and techniques to successfully launch a new business or to grow your small business. Develop marketing objectives, create a marketing plan and acquire the skills you need to increase awareness and sales for your business.

Suitability and entry requirements
A good level of spoken English, basic IT skills and experience using the internet.

How you will learn in this
Case studies, tutorials, practical exercises, individual & group tuition, demonstrations, individual and group critiques, peer to peer discussion, personal research.

Platform for the course/workshop
This workshop will be held on Zoom. You can join by clicking on the link within the joining instructions. Once you have joined, please turn on your camera. Learn Ealing has an E-Safety Policy and Procedure which can be requested at any time for further information.

Accreditation, qualifications and assessment methods
- This is a non-accredited course, however, a certificate of attendance will be provided. - There will be continuous assessment of your work throughout. Your tutor will give feedback during class and at the end of the lesson.

How much additional time do you need to invest?
Implement the methods learnt in class, for discussion and feedback in the next lesson. You are encouraged to spend time identifying the areas of marketing support needed for your business, to ensure the course content is relevant.

Are there any additional costs?
No additional costs Resources and materials A notepad and pen are required. Access to the internet outside of class would be beneficial. No other resources are required. Where possible, bring marketing materials from your business for review during class.lass.

Your Tutor
Atlyn has over 20 years of marketing experience in a variety of sectors including, tourism, luxury brands, housing, publishing and financial services. She has a BA in Design and Media Management and is the founder of the ALF Marketing consultancy. She currently manages insight and market research for a financial services company and supports a range of clients with their marketing.
