To participate in online classes you will need an email address, a reliable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet/mobile phone with fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome).  Your device will need a microphone and preferably a camera.

There are 4.2 billion active social media users and those users spend an average of 2.5 hours on social channels daily. This time on social media provides an incredible opportunity for small businesses to; build brand awareness, develop customer relationships, and make sales directly within social platforms. This workshop will give small business owners the skills they need to grow their business using Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter and TikTok.

Aims of the course
To help business owners to use a range of social media platforms and the right content to build brand awareness, develop customer relationships, and generate sales.

Understand which social media platforms are right for your business and why Identify your social media audience and expand it How to engage with your social media audience and build relationships Tools to generate conversions and sales with social commerce How to use scheduling and automation to free up more time for engagement Track and refine your performance

Suitability and entry requirements
A good level of spoken English, basic IT skills and experience using the internet

How you will learn on the course
Case studies, tutorials, practical exercises, individual & group tuition, demonstrations, individual and group critiques, peer to peer discussion, personal research.

Platform for the course/workshop
This workshop will be held on Zoom/Face to Face. You will be sent appropriate joining instructions. Once you have joined by Zoom, please turn on your camera. *Learn Ealing has an E-Safety Policy and Procedure which can be requested at anytime for further information.

Accreditation, qualifications and assessment methods
This is a non-accredited course, however, a certificate of attendance will be provided. There will be continuous assessment of your work throughout. Your tutor will give feedback during class and at the end of the lesson.

How much additional time do you need apart from class time?
Implement the methods learnt in class, for discussion and feedback in the next lesson. You are encouraged to spend time identifying the areas of support needed for your business, to ensure the course content is relevant.

Resources, materials & additional costs?
No additional costs Resources and materials A notepad and pen are required. Access to the internet outside of class would be beneficial. No other resources are required. Where possible, bring marketing materials from your business for review during class
