Description

This qualification helps you improve your speaking and listening skills in English. You will learn how to take part in conversations, ask questions and understand others in everyday and work situations. This course can support progression to further ESOL study.  

Aim
This course supports adults who speak English as an additional language to improve their speaking and listening skills for everyday life, work, and further study.

Suitability and entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. This course is suitable for learners who have basic English skills (Entry 1 or equivalent). You will complete an initial assessment to make sure this is the right level for you.

This qualification is assessed via 3 controlled assessments which cover: • Reading • Writing • Speaking, Listening and Communicating Learners can either complete individual Awards in: ESOL Skills for Life (Reading) ESOL Skills for Life (Writing) ESOL Skills for Life (Speaking and Listening) OR The full Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life covering reading, writing and speaking and listening
