Learn Ealing continues to deliver courses face-to-face and through its online offer. We will deliver lessons and support learners through the use of Google Education suite, Zoom, Skype and other digital platforms.

To participate in online classes you will need an email address, a reliable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet/mobile phone with fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome).  Your device will need a microphone and preferably a camera.

Description

If you are interested ESOL (English for Speakers of other Languages) course then you re required to complete an assessment to confirm the correct level for you.

Attend one of our drop in registration sessions at Percevval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2HL  

Before you start
If you want to join an ESOL (English for Speakers of other Languages) course, you will need to complete a short assessment. This helps us place you on the right level. For information about assessment dates, please contact the Learn Ealing team: 020 8825 5577 | learnealing.gov.uk

What to bring on the day
Our courses are funded, so we must check that you are eligible. Please bring the following documents on the day: Photo ID - passport, driving licence, or national ID Immigration status - biometric residence card or share code Proof of address - a recent bill (e.g. council tax or utility bill) Proof of income (if you are on a low wage) Proof of benefits (if you receive benefits) National Insurance number - shown on a card, payslip, or letter

What to expect on the day
You will complete a short assessment which includes: - Speaking & listening with a tutor - Reading - Writing - Allow maximum 2 hours to complete the assessment and enrolment - Children and additional adults will not be permitted in the assessment room If you have further questions you can contact the Learn Ealing team on 020 8825 5577 or learnealing.gov.uk
